This combines two of my favourite things. A gorgeous timber screen with inbuilt vertical garden features

Clever use of borders, square stepping stones and English Box Hedge oozes beauty and sophistication whilst being low maintenance

Beautifully trimmed Standard Ficus and English Box Hedge make for an impressive entrance to the front of this house

This garden bed has been raised slightly higher than the lawn area with a clever use of treated pine sleepers that have then been stained to give a rich "Merbau" look.

This garden planter box has a treated pine timber frame and is lined with merbau decking boards. A water feature has been placed in the centre, and small sculpture hung from the fence, to give a point of interest. With the fence also painted, it gives the whole area a great look and manages to double as a retaining wall for the "very" raised garden beds and provides some casual seating.

This is a really interesting Retaining Wall. Instead of the traditional horizontal layout, here the Treated Pine sleepers have been concreted vertically into the ground. Then "floating" seating has been created from Merbau, The Fire Pit creates a focal point for the whole setting.
